Universal Primers – Abrasion Resistant Aluminium Pure Epoxy

A light coloured,  abrasion resistant, aluminium pure epoxy coating giving excellent long term anticorrosive protection and low temperature application capability.
Intershield® 300, with 9% Aluminium, has successfully provided outstanding corrosion protection. Since 1988, extensive in-service track records demonstrate long lasting proven performance of Intershield 300.
Intershield® 300 is our highest performing anticorrosive universal primer, suitable for use at newbuilding or maintenance and repair.
Application of the product at newbuilding and as part of a well -planned, lifetime maintenance strategy can reduce vessel life cycle cost with a corresponding increase in asset value.
Intershield® 300 has over 9% aluminium which acts both as a barrier pigment and prevents the spread of corrosion at the steel surface. This coating contacts just the right level of aluminium (Over 9% by weight in the dry film) to ensure compliance with classification society regulations for use on tanker decks, offering improved resistance to cathodic disbanding and long term corrosion protection.
